Professional Grade Microfiber Cloth

Microfiber cloth is the newest cleaning technology made from two types of microfibers, polyamide (20%) and polyester (80%). These ultra-soft microfiber cloths lift and trap dirt and moisture, leaving a clean, dry, and polished surface without harmful chemicals. A microfiber is an extremely small fiber—no more than 100th the diameter of a human hair. There are approximately 90,000 microfibers per square inch of fabric. These fibers are woven together and then split into wedge-shaped filaments. This drastically increases the cleaning surface area.

Microfiber cloths can be used either wet or dry. Use them dry, and they clean without scratching, streaking, or leaving lint behind. Microfibers attract dust and other contaminants like a magnet and trap them within their very fine microscopic filaments—the microfibers actually “pick-up” particles instead of pushing them along. Use them wet, and they will absorb 7 to 8 times their weight in water. Due to their superior quality, these microfiber towels can be washed and reused many times.

This cloth would be defined as the “standard microfiber.” All microfibers are rated with a GSM (grams per square meter) rating. Our professional-grade quality is 300 GSM. These towels are most typically used in cleaning. Thousands of businesses and customers use them. They are up to 500 times washable and very absorbent.

Care Instructions

Machine wash. Wash in warm 100° F (38° C) water with a mild detergent (liquid detergent is preferred to powdered detergent). Wash with other nonlinting materials to maintain proper dirt-gripping properties.

Do not wash with other cotton items. If you do not want your microfiber towels to lint, do not wash them with cotton fabrics. The lint from the cotton items will get trapped in your microfiber cloths, causing them to lint the next time you use them.

Separate colors. Do not wash dark and light colors together.

Do not use chlorine bleach. Bleach will break down the polyester and polyamide fibers.

Do not use fabric softeners or dryer sheets, as these will clog the microfibers or coat the fibers, making them less effective.

Tumble dry with low or no heat, and do not iron. Drying your microfiber cloths with high heat will melt the fibers.
