Rublev Colours Laropal Solvent is the best solvent for preparing your own varnish with Laropal A81 or thinning Conservar Isolating / Finishing Varnish. Laropal Solvent is a colorless liquid with a sweet to kerosene-like odor. It can also be used to thin paints, coatings, waxes, inks, degreasing, and industrial cleaning.
Laropal Solvent is a blend of mineral spirits, classified as a type 3 mineral spirit (hydrotreated heavy naphtha) and a light aromatic solvent. Mineral spirits (U.S.) or white spirits (U.K.), also known as mineral turpentine, turpentine substitute, petroleum spirits, solvent naphtha (petroleum), varsol, or, generically, "paint thinner," is a petroleum-derived common organic solvent.

WARNING! Contains Petroleum Distillates. Flammable liquid and vapor. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Affects the central nervous system. Causes irritation to skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. Overexposure may result in nausea, headache, confusion, or instability. Conforms to the health requirements of ASTM D4236.
